The Consulate General of Canada in Seattle in partnership with the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA), and the Cascadia BlockChain Council are launching a Canadian Blockchain Accelerator in Seattle, WA.

Six Canadian blockchain startups will be selected for the program, which will take place over an 8-week period starting in late January 2020. The hybrid accelerator program includes 1.5 weeks of in-person activities in Seattle, WA, as well as 6.5 weeks of remote-based engagement.

The Consulate General of Canada in Seattle is committed to supporting Canadian companies who have meaningful economic ties to Canada, the potential to contribute significantly to Canada's economic growth, and the capacity and commitment to internationalization.

This Accelerator is for early stage (seed-stage or post-seed stage) companies that have market traction in Canada with a well-developed product or service. Companies can be revenue generating or pre-revenue.

The program’s mentor based process is ideal for creative, intelligent, and ambitious founders and teams who are eager to learn from the insights of experienced entrepreneurs, increasing their probability of success.
