Mike McGlone is a senior commodity strategist for Bloomberg Intelligence, a unique research platform that provides context on industries, companies, and government policy, available on the Bloomberg Professional service at BI <GO>. Mr. McGlone specializes in the broad investible commodity markets. Mr. McGlone joined Bloomberg in 2016 with over 25 years of futures and commodity trading and investing experience, beginning at the Chicago Board of Trade. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he was a head of US research at ETF Securities. Prior to ETF Securities, Mr. McGlone headed the commodity business at S&P Indices. His previous roles included head of futures research at ABN Amro and VP research, analyst, trader, sales at Aubrey G. Lanston / IBJ Futures. Mr. McGlone has an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago and bachelor’s of science and arts degrees from Illinois State University. Jos Schmitt is one of the founders and President & CEO of the Aequitas NEO Exchange, a stock exchange he formed with the support of a number of blue chip financial institutions.Prior to NEO and in the role of President & CEO, Jos formed together with a number of blue chip financial institutions the Alpha Group of companies, including the Alpha Stock Exchange. This followed his role as EVP Head of the Americas and Global Head of Capital Markets for a global professional services company focused on the financial services industry. Some of his other previous roles include: President and CEO of a European Derivatives Exchange and Clearing House, President and CEO of a pan-European Indices Publisher, Chairman of a Derivatives SRO, and Head of Strategy and Business Operations at a European Stock Exchange.

Andrew joins Hut 8 from GMP Securities L.P., where he played an integral role for more than 18 years, including most recently as Managing Director, Investment Banking, as well as a key member of GMP’s Blockchain Investment Banking Group. He is a co-founder of Hut 8 and played an fundamental role in the formation, structure, and financing of Hut 8. Andrew has extensive experience in providing investment banking services to numerous public and private entities, including raising equity and debt capital in excess of C$3 billion over the last five years. He has also worked in an advisory role on numerous marquee M&A transactions.

Michael was the co-Founder and CEO of Ether Capital (ETHC:NEO) having successfully led a recent $45 million private placement raise and subsequent reverse takeover to go public. He is also the Founder of Quail Creek Partners, an advisory and consulting business focused on the global financial services, financial technology and blockchain/crypto space. Michael brings a wealth of experience in financial services having served in various senior executive positions at AllianceBernstein and The TCW Group, Inc., with responsibilities for portfolio management, operations, sales, and marketing. Michael’s diverse industry experience includes time at the Los Angeles Times/Tribune Company, McMaster-Carr Supply Company, and the US Embassy in Paris. Michael, who is fluent in French and conversant in several other languages, holds a Master’s degree in International Finance and Economics from Brandeis University and an MBA with honors from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
